Christine's sequel?

The place to discuss John Carpenters adaptation of the famous Stephen King novel. Brought to the big screen and released in 1983 it tells the eerie, twisted love story of a teenager and his obsessively jealous 1958 Plymouth Fury!

Christine's sequel?

Postby batatabionica on January 30th, 2010, 9:13 am

Hello everybody!
I'm new in this forum, but I've watched the movie and I loved it... But a friend told me that there was a sequel for Christine, it is possible? Can anyone tell me it's name?
Thank you very much...

Welcome Maxi...Glad you found us. I don't know of any sequel...yet. The producers must realize there's an interest out there though. I imagine it's just a matter of time though...before we hear about something in the works for sequel.

Don't know. Just found it interesting though. :)

I don't know about a sequel, but I have heard that there may be plans to do a remake, which is blasphemous. Since there aren't that many "Christines" left anymore, they would probably do some CGI in the movie especially in the "show me" scene where she restores herself. That's IF they kept it as a Plymouth Fury and didn't change her to another car entirely.

Before the dvd came out entertainment weekly said something that NBC was thinking about a remake but never happened for certain reasons then in 07 the writer of Disturbia Christopher Landon was thinking of a remake of Christine too.

Damn, woulda loved to have them hanging up in my room.
I never really knew there was any non AC/DC music in the film aside from the occasional bass line and "JAW JAW JAW JAW JAW"

It's all AC/DC including the bass lines but I don't know about the sound when some people get killed or hurt though but all is them.

There is a site for the Green Goblin head and a site with maximum Overdrive thats called what the truck says on the side of it plus co. in it and there is a site I found with Christine and Maximum Overdrive pictures with other horror car movies and some of the pics are big too.
