Someone Bid $10,000 and that met the reserve. Now the $10,000 bid is gone and the bid is back to $6,600. I talked to Alex earlier and wished him luck after the bid hit $10,000. I was hoping to work out a deal with him but I will contine my search.

You know the response was bull for withdrawing the bid was bull. Too many numbers and places off to have hit the wrong key. Big difference between $10,000 and the bid he came back with $6,600. I can't think of another reason why someone would Go from a existing bid of $ 5,900 and jump the bid to $10,000 unless they were trying to expose if their maximun bid was going to trigger your reserve. Now he knows so he backs off and see the car can be bought for less. JMHO I have seen this bidder bid on a lot of cars and parts.

Alex your ebay auction on this seems to be frozen in time. It may improve as it goes down to the wire. If you are not happy with the results of the Ebay auction I will make a standing offer of $10,500 if we can come to terms on payments between now and April. If nothing else you at least know you have a offer that exceeds your Reserve so no one is going to hope to get it for less then $10,500 . Nice unit and I would like nothing more then to bring her back to life with a complete frame off restoration. We can talk by phone later in the week. If the auction goes above $10,500 I wish you nothing but the best.

Jim
