A Gentleman on the F. Look got this info for me....
The following are 2-door hardtop production figures for 1957-58 and include U.S. and Canadian plants. The numbers also include all models based on the Plymouth, the Canadian Dodge and the export Kingsway and Diplomat. Only the Fury was built only in the U.S. and did not have any Dodge/DeSoto versions in 1957-58.
Plymouth Savoy, Dodge Regent, Dodge Kingsway DeLuxe and DeSoto Diplomat DeLuxe :
1957 - 31,373
1958 - 19,500
Plymouth Belvedere, Dodge Mayfair, Dodge Kingsway Custom and DeSoto Diplomat Custom :
1957 - 67,268
1958 - 36,043
Plymouth Fury :
1957 - 7,438
1958 - 5,303
Manufacturers never published their detailed production figures. The information we have now was dug out by historians, in the case of Plymouth and DeSoto by the late F. Donald Butler. Mr. Butler also dug out the published figures on Dodge cars up to 1956.
As for Golden Commando engine production, I know of no one who has those figures.
